Upcoming April 27 • The South Orange Historical & Preservation Society will present an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. with a talk by artist Jimmy Ma of Ma’s Glass and Art Studio, who will discuss stained glass design and restorations. A light buffet will be served. The event is free and open to the public and will be at 166 Ralston Ave., South Orange.

Jimmy Ma, is the owner of Ma’s Glass and Art Studio in East Orange. Ma is a professional stained-glass restoration artist and has worked on projects at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Trinity Church in New York, as well as the Princeton University Chapel, which was the largest restora­tion project of its kind in the United States. He will speak on the history of stained glass in the Eastern United States and discuss methods of stained glass restoration.
